Expressive Landscapes &
Contemporary Still Life
My work is inspired by shape, found objects, plants and my local landscape here in the heart of the South Downs National Park, where the light is vivid and the skies always changing.

I paint both abstract and expressive landscapes, contemporary still life
and more recently have been trying to capture the secrets of my garden. My work is mostly in acrylic and l work largely from my home based studio. ​

Educated at Goldsmiths College, London, and pursuing an entirely different career in the interim I've come to realise that all learning is useful to an artist. Everything we experience has an influence on style attitude and approach to artistic expression and keeps the work fresh and ever evolving.
